Adrian Roberts

Adrian Roberts is Legal Director for International Trade in the UK’s Government Legal Department, and is joint head of the legal team at the Department for Business and Trade.
In previous roles he was an EU and UK climate change negotiator, Vice-Chair of the Kyoto Protocol Compliance Committee, headed the Europe legal team in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, and worked in the Prime Minister’s Office negotiating the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.
Adrian studied law at Trinity Hall, Cambridge; the Inns of Court School of Law; and a master’s in EU law at Leicester University.
