Chrysoula Mavromati

Chrysoula Mavromati is a Legal Adviser at the UK Department for International Trade. She advises on the UK’s bilateral investment treaties, investment and trade law in the context of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, EU investment law and multilateral investment law issues.

Prior to joining the UK Government Legal Department, she served as Legal Counsel to the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) at the World Bank in Washington, DC, where she advised on various issues of investment law and was most recently involved in the ICSID Rules Amendment process. She was formerly Fellow with the Operations Policy Unit of the World Bank’s Legal Vice Presidency and has completed stints with the International Trade and Investment Group of Hogan Lovells in Brussels and the Legal Unit of DG Trade of the European Commission.
