Ambassador Mario Oyarzábal
Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of the Netherlands
Mario Oyarzábal (JD University of La Plata, LLM Harvard) is Member of the UN International Law Commission and Membre associé de l’ Institut de Droit international. A career diplomat from Argentina, he was the Legal Adviser of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and currently serves as Ambassador to The Netherlands and the international organizations and tribunals in The Hague. He has litigated for Argentina before the International Court of Justice and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and has lectured and published extensively on public and private international law including in the Recueil des cours of The Hague Academy of International Law.
