Sally Langrish, Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office Legal Adviser & Director General Legal. Sally has worked on a wide range of international and European legal issues throughout her career. She has served at the UK’s Permanent Representation to the EU and the British Embassy Brussels. Other roles include Legal Director to the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, and the UK Department of International Trade, where she established the legal team to create an independent UK trade policy following the EU Referendum. She was delighted to return to the FCDO Legal team in May 2022.
Sally is also the Chair of the London Conference on International Law Steering Committee.
